What are the reasons for the oil separator core to burn?
1. The main engine does not receive oil injection for cooling and lubrication, and the main and auxiliary rotors form dry friction with the internal cavity and end faces. Sparks are easily generated under high-speed rotation, and enter the oil and gas barrel through the oil and gas common pipe to ignite the fuel separation filter material.
2. The electrical circuit is short-circuited. Due to the open flame caused by the short-circuit of the electrical circuit, the fire source enters the interior of the air compressor and burns the oil and machine accessories.
3. Foreign matter, such as broken metal, particulate impurities, fibers, etc., has entered the air intake port. After being sucked into the main engine, the friction of the main and auxiliary rotors produces an open flame that enters the oil and gas barrel and ignites the fuel filter material.
4. There are problems with the quality of air compressor oil, such as poor oxidation resistance, carbon deposits and gelling, which remain on various parts of the main oil circuit system for a long time, resulting in unsmooth oil circuit system. These impurities are easy to compress after entering the main engine Creates an open flame.
5. Most of the air compressors are due to the design defects of the oil circuit. After the shutdown, the machine head returns to the inside of the oil separator barrel, and the inside of the cooler and the inside of the main engine are in a state of oil shortage and filled with air. When starting the machine, the main engine needs to suck out the air filled in it, so that the oil can enter, because the long pipeline will inevitably cause the oil supply time to be too long, causing the main engine to spray fire and cause the oil separation core to burn.
6. When the temperature is low in winter, the viscosity of the oil increases and the oil flows slowly. When the air compressor is restarted after stopping for a period of time, most of the oil in the cooler will flow into the oil drum due to the shutdown. When the main engine is rotating, because there is no timely oil supply from the bypass oil circuit, the oil needs to go through the cooler, oil filter, oil cut-off valve, etc. to reach the main engine. The dry friction of the rotor is very likely to generate an open flame, which is sprayed into the oil and gas barrel to ignite the fuel.
