Minimum pressure valve function:

1. The function of the minimum pressure valve is to buffer. When the machine is loaded at the moment, assuming that it is discharged into the atmosphere, the large pressure difference generated before and after the separation inside the machine will all be added to the separator, causing damage to the separator core;

2. Machine oil lubrication is carried out by the pressure difference of the machine itself, without additional oil pump assistance. When the machine is in no-load state, it still needs a certain pressure to maintain the oil circulation, so the inlet valve is relatively closed, and the minimum pressure valve prevents pressure leakage, so as to ensure the lubricating oil circulation.

3. The minimum pressure valve is mainly used to establish the internal pressure of the unit, promote the lubricating oil circulation, and meet the working pressure of the load reduction valve.

4. In addition, the minimum pressure valve also acts as a one-way valve to prevent the compressed air in the storage tank from flowing back to the air compressor when the unit is unloaded.

The minimum pressure valve is located at the outlet above the oil and gas separator, and the opening pressure is set at about 045MP. Its functions are as follows:

1.When starting, priority is given to establish the circulating pressure required by lubricating oil to ensure the lubrication of the machine.

2.When the pressure exceeds 0.45mp, the valve opens, which can reduce the air flow rate through the oil and gas separator, in addition to ensuring the oil and gas separation effect, and can protect the oil and gas separation filter element from being damaged due to too large pressure difference.
