The pressure sensor used in air compressor is usually piezoresistive pressure sensor, and the key component is the resistance strain gauge glued to the measuring rod of the sensor. The resistance strain gauge is a sensitive device which converts the strain change on the measured part into an electrical signal. It is one of the main components of piezoresistive strain sensor. Usually, the strain gauge is tightly bonded to the matrix generating mechanical strain by special bonding agent. When the stress of the matrix changes, the resistance strain gauge also generates deformation, so that the resistance value of the strain gauge changes and the voltage applied to the resistance changes. The variation of resistance value generated by this strain gauge under force is usually small. Generally, this strain gauge is composed of strain bridge, which is amplified by subsequent instrument amplifier, and then transmitted to the processing circuit or actuator. When the time and space press is lower than the set pressure, the time and space press stops at the set pressure, and so on.

Piezoresistive force sensor:
The resistance strain gauge is one of the main components of the piezoresistive strain sensor. The working principle of the metal resistance strain gauge is the phenomenon that the resistance value changes with the mechanical deformation of the strain resistance adsorbed on the base material, commonly known as the resistance strain effect.
Diffusion Silicon Pressure Sensor:
The working principle of the diffused silicon pressure sensor is also based on the piezoresistive effect. Using the piezoresistive effect principle, the pressure of the measured medium directly acts on the diaphragm (stainless steel or ceramics) of the sensor, so that the diaphragm produces a micro-displacement proportional to the medium pressure. The resistance value of the sensor is changed, the electronic circuit is used to detect the change, and a standard measurement signal corresponding to the pressure is converted and output.
