Replacement method of oil air separator
External models:
Stop the air compressor, close the air pressure outlet, open the drain valve, and after confirming that the system is pressure-free, remove the old oil and gas separator and replace it with a new one.
1. There is a safety valve on the end cover of the oil separation tank of the air compressor. When the air pressure in the oil separation tank reaches 1.1 times the set value, the safety valve will automatically open to release part of the air and reduce the air pressure in the oil separation tank. The method to check the safety valve is to gently pull the vent lever on the safety valve when the compressor is working at full load. If the safety valve can discharge outward, it is considered normal.
2. There is a pressure gauge on the oil separation tank to detect the pre-filter pressure. The bottom of the oil separation tank is equipped with a drain valve. The drain valve should be opened regularly to let off the water and dirt deposited on the bottom of the oil separation tank.
3. There is a transparent oil level mirror beside the oil separation tank to show the level of the oil separation tank. The correct oil level is when the air compressor is working normally, the oil level is in the middle of the upper and lower degrees. If it is too high, it will run away, and if it is too low, it will affect the safety of the whole machine.
